Number 21 on my 30 before Thirty list: adopt an animal from the humane society. This past weekend the humane society had adoption drive to find homes for 200 animals. They were also taking half off the adoption fee. We have been wanting to get an animal for the girls. So, after a lot of thought and discussion we decided that a cat was what we wanted. A dog would require far more attention than we have to offer. So we came home with Chester. He’s 5 months and so far he’s been a super easy pet.
If you are thinking about getting a pet, consider adoption. They spay and neuter all their animals and are current on all their shots.
The girls will love Chester! He looks like a very nice kitty. I miss my kitty!
