This week we’ve been working on Rory’s dresser for her new room. My sister, Ellie, gave me this old dresser when I moved in with her for college. It was a dresser she had redone. She probably got it at a the thrift store or a garage sale.
Some of the drawers where getting loose, so my brother, Alan, had Rory help him put some nails in them.
Rory also made sure the rest of the dresser was structurally sound.
After a few coats of fresh “Country White” paint and some heavy distressing with a sander, this is the finished dresser.
Rory picked out purple for the new drawer pulls. You also get a sneak peek of the wall color in her new room.
