Woodworking Workshop: Little Chairs

6 Mar

We started a Woodworking Workshop. One weekend a month, friends will get together and build something. This weekend was our first workshop. We built little chairs from Ana-White.com

It took much longer than I had anticipated (7 hours instead of 3), but we had so much fun – I was more than happy to spend my Saturday building with friends.

We built 8 little chairs.  We started off building one complete chair, then built the rest assembly line style (but as a group).  The chairs will be painted at a more leisurely pace, and I will share them if they send me their pictures.

The group testing out our very sturdy children’s chairs.

Thanks to everyone who made our first Woodworking Workshop a success!

She was still napping. We set the camera on a timer then propped it on Alan’s tail gate. I wish she could have been in the picture, but wasn’t worth waking her for.

Good job Amy! How do you get Alan to commit to the time? He must be loving it as well. I always enjoy your posts. Keep it up!
