Woodworking Workshop: Adirondack Chairs

2 Apr

Today we had our second Woodworking Workshop.  The build for the day: Adirondack chairs, West Elm style.

The day started off at the lumber yard.  Wood for each chair total: $30.

We had awesome weather, so we were able to move this show into the backyard.  Unlike last time when we had to work in the garage because it was so dang cold.

The girls cutting up all the wood.

Two saws made it go fast.  Still time consuming though.

Don’t forget the wood glue!

One of the four chairs we built.

All of us relaxing in our completed chairs!

Plans from ana-white.com found here.

What a good project, and job well done! Did you make two for yourself?

We only made one apiece. I might make another one in the future so both Joey and I can relax in the backyard while the girls run around.

You are unbelievably talented. You set your mind on a project and do it. Not many people can do that! See you in July!
