Little Workshop

3 Apr

Home Depot has a little kids woodworking workshop. It’s the first Saturday of every month. I’ve been really excited for Rory to start going to these. She now seems like she’s old enough to really participate. So she went to her first workshop this weekend. Joey took her. I’m glad she got to spend some one on one time just her and her daddy.

Home Depot provides all the supplies for the kids to make their own wood project. They also give the kids their own apron and a pin to put on it featuring the project they made.

This month’s project was a flower crate.  They bought some flowers to put in it.

Rory didn’t want to take a picture with her project, just the flowers.  It was a tad windy outside.

That is a cute picture of Rory with her flowers; it does look a tad windy!! What an advertising concept; start your customers when they are young, and they are hooked for life!

Rory- way to go -that is such a cool crate, and the flowers look so cute in them. I am glad that you and your daddy got to go to that. Betcha had fun. You are so cute in all your pictures. Love you, grammy and poppy
