Child’s Bench/Side Table

17 Apr

Yesterday, after going to the zoo and before going to the circus, Rory and I built something.  There is something about no wind and warm weather that makes me want to build.  So I assessed all my wood scraps and figured out an easy project that Rory and I could build together.  I had enough scraps to throw together a small outdoor bench or possibly a side table.  We used nails on the top so Rory could have a hand in it.

All finished building. Rory demonstrating the bench features.

Starting to paint.  Sissy really wanted to lend a hand.

All painted white.

Acting as a side table next to the Adirondack chair we built a couple weeks ago, also in a white finish.

That was a fun (and quick) project! And it looks awesome by the new Adirondack chair.

Totally cute. Where do you get the energy and the patience to go to the zoo, build a table & paint it and then go to the circus. I am tired just typing this. You are soooo creative.

Sure you don’t want to start a wood business. You already have your employees!
