About Me
Hi there! I’m Amy, a Kansas girl who went from the farm, to college, to the suburbs. I am a freelance graphic designer. I am also a stay at home mother to three adorable little girls; Aurora, Delilah and Elena. I am married to Joey, an amazing man, sweet father and a software engineer.
I started this blog as a way to share with you the things I make. Making little crafty things out of felt and fabric and also making over old furniture. But after discovering Ana White’s website (Ana-White.com) a few years ago, it unleashed my long time desire to build. Having always wanted to, but it was so intimidating to get into. Little by little I have acquired power tools and know-how . The garage is my new “office”.
In the beginning I used her plans as a way to learn to build, now I am confident to deviate from the plans. I look for inspiration and ideas anywhere I can and build from my own plans. My next goal is to design my own furniture.
Once again, thank you for visiting. I means the world to me. And I LOVE comments! -Amy
I have to say you, your husband, and your children all look exceptionally intelligent. Must be genetic.
Thanks for sharing. I have 4 grown sons, 1 grandson and 2 grandaughts. I love the hair accessories and will be trying some soon for my girls. I wish I had friends to build with, I work at Home Depot and can usually find someone to help me if I need advice but it would be great to have someone to build with. Your thirty list is inspiring. Maybe I will do a sixty list. I did all the thirty already. Great job on you site. Thanks for inviting me to visit.
Your projects inspire me! Great way to feel like I know you a little bit better! Loved the chairs and the hammock! Good Job!
Amy, I just found your blog! I am so excited to see all of the cool stuff you are doing and making!
Hi Ashley! Thanks for stopping by! We really need to get together with you and Brett.
